Aim of the position:

Entertains Guests in the discotheque creating the best atmosphere.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plays music in the Discotheque organizing lights, videos and special effects, to create the best atmosphere for Guests, adapting musical contents to their tastes and following their requests.
  • Reports all problems and malfunctioning concerning equipment to the Entertainment Technical Manager to provide a fast and effective solution.
  • Is responsible for keeping the DJ station in order, taking good care of all equipment.
  • Collaborates when needed with the Lounge Technician in lounges and swimming pool areas to support entertainment activities.
  • Assists the Adult, Child and Teen Animators during the activities organized in the Discotheque to provide the most suitable musical program.
  • Plays the most suitable music content during special events, parties and themed nights to entertain all kind of guests.
  • Supplies technical mixing lessons to meet Guests requests and maximize revenue opportunities.

Job Requirements:

  • Secondary School
  • Experience in clubs or disco on land or on other ships.
  • Basic Sound and Light expertise. Computer literate.
  • Enthusiastic, creative and good communicator
  • At ease with public speaking
  • English knowledge B1
  • Italian knowledge is an advantage
  • Shipboard experience is a plus
