With the ambition of being the best in the industry, we are looking for a skilled High Level Software Engineer for upcoming projects for our department in Ballerup near Copenhagen.

As a High Level Software Engineer at DIS, you will experience an independent job and a varied everyday work life with professional challenges matching your areas of expertise. You will be involved in small and large development projects and will be responsible for project execution in close dialogue with customers. You solve these tasks individually or in teams, either from the office or as a consultant at the customer, and you always have the support of your colleagues – as a consultant at DIS, you never work alone.

We imagine that you have a theoretical background within programming, computer science or similar with 3-5 years of documented experience as a Software Engineer. We expect that you are able to take on new and complicated issues and that you can take on several roles during the project, including implementation, architecture, test, requirement specifications and documentation. We value the ability to work and communicate in a team setting. You must have the courage and desire to challenge the status quo and engage in the constant development of DIS.
As a person, you are proactive, self-driven, ambitious and quality-conscious. You work well under pressure and are positively engaged with your work. You are outgoing and communicate flawlessly with customers and colleagues in both Danish and English. Furthermore, you understand the importance of knowledge sharing with colleagues when solving tasks.
In our project solution, the following competencies are often at play:
- Primarily C#, .Net, Java, JavaScript, VB and potentially Python
- Architecture, implementation, test/unit test and GUI
- Known IDE’s such as Eclipse or VS
- Tools such as Jira, GIT and Jenkins
- Process understanding, including elements such as CI/CD, automatic test and configuration management
- Cloud solutions and frameworks such as Azure or Amazon Cloud
- Data mining, data processing and data presentation in a UI
- Server structure such as SQL/MySQL or similar
