Our client is a North American company leader in the treatment and coating of metals that intends to reinforce its internal structure with the integration of an Accoutant (m/f) for Maia.

Function

The professional to be hired will be responsible for carrying out the period closing activities, in collaboration with the SSC (Shared Services Center) and the Factory Local Controller (Local Contact Point - SPoC), such as recording manual entries in the diary, accruals, provisions and deferrals:

Perform inventory accounting and make necessary adjustments;
Process accounting of fixed assets (creation, additions, depreciation, disposals and transfers);

Handle accounting between companies;

Reconcile the balance sheet and maintain appropriate accounts with the company's activity;

Review the monthly accounting closure within the deadlines stipulated for reporting to the Group;
Manage issues related to transfer pricing;

Analyze and propose provisions for doubtful debts and guarantees to customers, as well as carry out any relevant accounting;

Evaluate sales, analyze margins and profitability by technology.

Requisiti professionali

Degree in Accounting, Management, Economics or similar field;

Have 3 to 4 years of experience in accounting, preferably with knowledge of monthly closings;

Proficiency in English and a second spoken and written language, especially (French, German, Italian);

Chartered Accountant (desirable);

USGAAP reporting (valued);

Experience in international accounting and SAP Business One (valued);

Demonstrate orientation towards obtaining results, with the ability to identify problems and propose effective solutions.
