Informazioni su questo evento

North Rhine-Westphalia (the locals call it “NRW”) offers plenty career opportunities for qualified Physiotherapists. NRW is the economic heart of Germany, an important industrial state. The healthcare sector is growing steadily and is regarded as a driver of innovation with significant employment potential.

With 18 million inhabitants, NRW is the most populous and also the most densely populated state in Germany.

Here in NRW, we have many years of experience with a colourful mix of nationalities. More than 3.27 million people with an immigrant background from over 190 different countries live and work in North Rhine-Westphalia. Located in the west of Germany, NRW features 30 of the 81 German municipalities with over 100,000 inhabitants, including Cologne (over 1 million), the state capital Düsseldorf, Dortmund and Essen (all about 600,000 inhabitants) and other cities predominantly located in the Rhine Ruhr metropolitan area, the largest urban area in Germany and the fourth-largest on the European continent.

Here, imposing industrial monuments stand alongside relaxing landscape parks, elegant shopping streets alternate with urban metropolitan oases. Cosmopolitanism and creativity characterise the attitude towards life in NRW.

North Rhine-Westphalia is regarded as Germany's number one sporting country because it is a place where broad-based and top-level sports come together in a particularly strong way. With around 18,000 sports clubs and over 5 million members, NRW has the largest sports base in the country. In football, traditional clubs such as Borussia Dortmund, FC Schalke 04, Borussia Mönchengladbach and 1. FC Köln has played the Bundesliga for decades. The infrastructure is also outstanding: the Signal Iduna Park (over 80,000 seats) and arenas such as the Veltins Arena and the RheinEnergieStadion are among the most important venues in Europe. This mix makes NRW the most important sporting venue in Germany.
