Scandic Vulkan

Scandic Vulkan is situated centrally in Oslo in the neighbourhood - Vulkan, close to Grünerlokka. Here you’ll find an urban environment, especially appealing if your interest lies in design, culture, shopping and nightlife. Right next door is Mathallen, a mecca for anyone interested in food and beverage.

Every morning we serve a large and tasty breakfast buffet, filled with healthy and organic breakfast items, and sweet temptations. The hotel offers a lobby bar and 24-hour shop, with a selection of snacks and beverages. Free WiFi in all rooms and public areas. If you want to work out, we have a modern gym for strength and cardio training. You can also borrow bikes from reception and discover the neighbourhood, or go for a walk in Nordmarka forest.

 If you're looking for design, culture and shopping, Oslo city centre is only a 15-minute walk away. If you follow the river Akerselva to the north, you’ll soon be in the more rural setting of Maridalen. It takes 10 minutes by bus from our hotel to Oslo central station. The airport express train takes you to Oslo Airport Gardermoen in only 20 minutes.

The hotel will soon have 180 guest rooms a conferance department with five meeting rooms and an Italian Restaurant that will open in the beginning of summer. We are now looking for several new team members to join our growing buisness and be a part of building up the coolest hotel in Oslo.
