Hotell Tjamstan

Hotell Tjamstan is part of MENI AB (Malå Energi & Industri AB), a municipally owned company in northern Sweden. We operate a hotel, restaurant, conference facilities, alpine ski area (Tjamstanbacken) and winter camping in the heart of Swedish Lapland.

Our restaurant operations include:

• The hotel restaurant – serving breakfast, lunch and dinner for hotel guests, conferences and groups
• Restaurant Laven – our alpine restaurant located directly on the ski slope

We are a growing winter destination with a strong focus on skiing, weekend packages and events. Our location offers a unique combination of professional kitchen work and an exceptional outdoor lifestyle.

The position is a seasonal employment for the winter season 2026/2027, with work divided between the hotel restaurant and Restaurant Laven. The role requires flexibility, teamwork and the ability to work in a dynamic environment with varying guest flows depending on season and weather.

Malå is a small, safe and welcoming community where everything is within walking distance – nature, ski slopes, lakes and forests are just minutes away. During winter we offer skiing and northern lights; during summer hiking, fishing and outdoor activities.

We are now looking for a skilled and motivated chef who wants to combine professional development with the experience of living and working in Swedish Lapland.
