Do you want to work globally with professional supplier relationships, developing and optimising the Vendor Governance model? The position is located in Copenhagen and with direct report to the Head of Vendor Management.



Leading a team to optimal realisation of value, quality and strong supplier relationships



As Vendor Manager your objective is to run and continuously develop the Carlsberg Vendor Governance model – which is the foundation of how we act and collaborate with our suppliers. You will be governing the vendors from a “one truth” perspective based on the facts and transparency you will be promoting. Since Carlsberg is first-mover within Vendor Management it will be you and your team defining Best Practices and executing on these.



Together with your team, you will cover a range of tasks including facilitating periodic Service Board meetings, performance management and collaboration levels, creating transparency on collaboration, costs and risks, value realization on existing contracts, and other ad hoc tasks, where your knowledge of Carlsberg’s vendors is needed. Your main responsibilities include:

•Owner of the global IT Vendor Governance model

•First stop for IT vendor related questions, and escalation point operational management and vendor account managers

•Management reporting and summaries including bench mark reports on realized values

•Negotiation and cross-functional collaboration mainly with Operations, Sourcing and Legal

•Functional lead for your team, with attention to development, motivation and delegation



A professional that combines knowledge in negotiations, supplier optimization and legal with a strong personality



As a manager, you are engaging, delegating and focused on establishing the right conditions for your team. It is natural for you to act at a holistic as well as a hands-on level. You are comfortable working in hectic environment and understand that as a first-mover not everything is set in stone, and that you need to take proactive action and responsibility. Professionally, some of your skills include:

•Proven track record in Service Delivery Management and/or experience from Sourcing and Contract Management, where you have acquired skills in supplier optimization and understanding legal

•Academic credentials on bachelor or master level from University or Engineering

•People or project management experience, with experience from preparing and running steering group meetings, where you have been used to document, report and act on key findings

•You can work with analyses based on complex data, and you can reason your decisions with facts

•Expected travel days are 20 days per year

•Fluency in English, verbally and in writing

•We expect you to have an outward personality with good communication skills

You will be joining a high performing team with an aggressive agenda and in an ever-changing organization. Vendor Management comprises several key areas that are covered by 12 people, and the team is constantly growing. You and your team of 4 people will be centered on following up and optimizing SLA’s, KPI’s, Governance and ensure management reporting. Your areas will cover IT services, software, hardware and other areas within shared services, where focus is on the key suppliers.
