SOFTWARE ENGINEER - ANDROID

We are looking for exceptionally talented Android engineers willing to share this challenge as members of our Amsterdam-based program teams. You will play a central role in the end-to-end development of entire new functionalities aimed at Android devices, working side-by-side with our backend and design specialists. HERE IS WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
- at least 3 years of experience developing, shipping and maintaining native Android apps targeting multiple form-factors.
- in-depth knowledge of the Android SDK and tooling in the space (e.g. Gradle build system, profiling tools among others)
- fluency in Java 7
- substantial exposure to large and complex code bases, object-oriented development and API design
- fluent in writing unit/functional tests, familiar with automation frameworks (Espresso, Calabash, JUnit, Mockito etc)
- solid communication and time management skills

- you have covered a technical leadership role, coordinating a team of developers
- a github account with some cool projects in it
- experience developing location aware mobile applications
- experience as a full stack developer working from client to backend web services
- a history of work in multi-functional teams, interacting with designers and backend developers

COMPENSATION:
Full-time salary negotiable based on experience, and equity compensation plan.
