Sales & Application Manager M/F
Our Client is a renowned trading company and water engineering contractor eadquartered in Hamburg Germany. In their main market Africa they operate through wholly-owned subsidiaries located in East and West of the continent.
Your main tasks include
- develop and implement strategic and operational sales plans for the territory
- analyse the sales activities, sales projects and key performance indicators of the territory
- maintain a consolidated territory database (CRM - currently Salesforce)
- recommend and implement tactical plans and programs for the achievement of sales goals
- develop and implement innovative distribution opportunities and improvements for the territory
- liaise with business development and marketing staff to ensure maximum market segment penetration in the territory
- prepare annual budget and contribute to the development of the mid-term financial plan
- assist dealers and /or our direct sales personnel in the preparation of tenders and quotations as well as product selection
Your profile
- a minimum of 5 years of working experience, preferably in a high tech industry related to Surveying and Engineering
- Experience with Leica surveying products is desirable.
- intimate knowledge of the Surveying and Engineering markets, preferably with knowledge in the African region
- strong business and sales/marketing knowledge as demonstrated by relevant experience
- communicate with our international partners fluent in written and spoken English
- willingness to travel is mandatory
