NKT in a global role 

As a Group HSE Manager – Audit and Reporting you will be working closely with our teams in Europe to ensure audits and reporting are developed and carried out and used as a key component in the journey towards zero injuries and healthy working conditions.

Your most important responsibilities as Group HSE Manager – Audit and Reporting will be:

Owning the audit framework for HSE improvements and maturity level by establishing, improving, developing, and ensuring a value added audit and reporting framework for all NKT locations. You will also own the internal Health and Safety requirements governance and establish the audit plan for all NKT locations against the internal HSE maturity improvement plan.

Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Executing the audit plan together with local HSE managers in each site as lead auditor and prepare and communicating audit reports
  • Providing the interpretation of the NKT requirements and establish these for compliance, advising the local sites on actions needed
  • Maintaining databases and reporting processes with HSE data (incidents, work hours, occurrences, etc.), analyzing incidents, and presenting to HSE Council quarterly
  • Collating, consolidating and delivering information on HSE data, KPIs, Dashboards, and various reports to stakeholder
  • Creating benchmarks and analysis

This role requires availability for business travel around 30-50% to our manufacturing locations mainly in Europe, thus you preferably live close to an airport in Northen Europe.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role you are be able to work independently and have both people skills and technical skills, so you can act as a safety role model for your colleagues. As an experienced advocate of a safety culture, you are a team worker who inspires others to make changes and takes part in the energetic transformation.

You should also have:

  • Successfully completed a university degree, for example but not limited to: Safety or Quality Engineer (Bsc/MSc), Production or Mechanical Engineer (Bsc/MSc)
  • More important than your field of study is your experience (several years), with a strong safety background in technical/industrial environment
  • Solid knowledge of operations and HSE processes
  • HSE Management systems knowledge: ISO 45001, 14001, 5000, 9001
  • Lead auditor ISO 45001 (others are an advantage)
  • Knowledge and experience in managing occupational risks and compliance with EU and national legislation
  • Experience in establishing, improving and managing HSE reporting processes
  • Experience with business intelligence tools is an advantage
