Then you might be the one we are looking for to take on the role as Sustainability Partner at Ferrosan Medical Devices.
 

Ferrosan Medical Devices develops and manufactures medical devices used in surgical procedures by healthcare professionals all over the world. Every two seconds a device from Ferrosan Medical Devices is used. We have a mission to provide innovative, effective, and safe medical devices that enable surgeons, nurses, and clinicians to perform surgical procedures as seamlessly as possible without complications. Your role and responsibilities

As the Sustainability Partner, you will join our Strategy & Sustainability department, working in a central function close to the executive management team and collaborating with all parts of the business – both at the headquarters in Denmark and our site in Poland.

You will be at the forefront of our commitment to sustainability and directly influencing all the hands-on initiatives needed to realize our ambitions. In this key role, you will be responsible for a range of tasks that are vital to embedding sustainable practices throughout our operations. These tasks include:
 

  • Leading the development and roll-out of a sustainability strategy, including plans for decarbonization and implementation of CSRD.
  • Developing, implementing, and monitoring company policies related to sustainability.
  • Providing sustainability insights and collaborating with various teams to integrate sustainability into relevant aspects of the business.
  • Assessing impacts and best practices to ensure compliance with upcoming sustainability legislative frameworks and regulations.
  • Preparing and presenting internal reports on the progress and impact of sustainability initiatives to the board of directors and executive management team.
  • Preparing external reporting, for example, annual reporting according to CSRD, on-going status reports to the company’s owners and reporting to our commercial partners.

  • Have practical experience in sustainability with a proven track record in a similar role or in consulting with focus on sustainability.
  • Demonstrate a strong passion for sustainability in a corporate context, along with knowledge of sustainability practices, frameworks and regulations, e.g. SBTi.
  • Possess strong analytical abilities and a talent for problem-solving.
  • Be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, from team members to executive management.
  • Display fluency in both written and spoken English.

Our portfolio consists of various hemostatic agents used to control bleeding in surgery and electromechanical medical devices to perform breast biopsies. We are an international company with products registered in more than 100 countries. Our products are marketed in collaboration with global partners.
