Essential Job Functions:
- Lead in kitchen cleanliness and organization through implemented cleaning schedules
- Maintain quality standards and consistency of all food
- Monitor kitchen staff in their day to day production to ensure quality and consistency
- Assist in daily production and preparation for service
- Assist in opening and/or closing the kitchen
- Cooking on hot or cold line as needed
- Assist in staff training to maintain set standards
- Creation and production of daily specials
- Maintain quality control and proper storage of deliveries
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- 2 years prior management experience at the sous level
- Excellent organization skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques: sauteing, grilling, braising, frying, cold preparations, etc
- Ability to work hot and cold stations
