Essential Job Functions:

  • Lead in kitchen cleanliness and organization through implemented cleaning schedules
  • Maintain quality standards and consistency of all food
  • Monitor kitchen staff in their day to day production to ensure quality and consistency
  • Assist in daily production and preparation for service
  • Assist in opening and/or closing the kitchen
  • Cooking on hot or cold line as needed
  • Assist in staff training to maintain set standards
  • Creation and production of daily specials
  • Maintain quality control and proper storage of deliveries

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • 2 years prior management experience at the sous level 
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of basic cooking techniques: sauteing, grilling, braising, frying, cold preparations, etc
  • Ability to work hot and cold stations
