DONG Energy Exploration and Production (E&P), a subsidiary of the DONG Energy Group, conducts upstream operations in oil and natural gas. We operate and participate in a wide range of offshore exploration and production activities in Denmark, the Faroe Islands, Greenland, Norway and the United Kingdom. The E&P business unit has experienced significant growth over recent years, and faces interesting new challenges in the future across our expanding portfolio of exploration, development and production assets. Within E&P, Operation and Facilities operates the Siri Platform with the satellite platforms Nini, Nini East and Cecilie. As part of this, the Technical Integrity Department is responsible for the technical safety and integrity of these and future DONG operated fields in the Danish sector. In connection with continued safe operation of the Siri Complex we seek an Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer for the Technical Integrity Department, based in Gentofte or Esbjerg. Areas of Responsibility In the position as Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer your main responsibilities and tasks will include: Act as Technical Authority for the discipline for the Siri Complex, and internal consultant in connection with modification projects for the Complex. Assist in managing the technical integrity on a day to day basis within the E&I discipline. Evaluate modification design and system documentation to ensure that E&I safety and operational requirements are met. Provide technical support to the Operations and Maintenance Team in relation to the E&I discipline. Your profile We expect that you, as a minimum, hold Bachelor’s Degree within the E&I engineering discipline and have: At least 5 years’ experience from operational E&I engineering in the oil and gas industry. Relevant experience from offshore oil & gas projects, preferably designed according to North Sea/NORSOK design codes and standards. Work experience with relevant codes, standards and industry practice. Strong knowledge of legislative requirements relating to E&I design and operation. Experience from working for an oil/gas production company, or alternatively a contractor or supplier. Self-motivated, team player with strength to execute.
