
Instrumentation Engineer– Energy (M/W)
As an Instrumentation Engineer specializing in the nuclear sector, you will join ALTEN teams and contribute to the nuclear island of an EPR-type power plant. Your responsibilities will include:
- Metrological Analysis: Understand industrial metrology concerns, anticipate risks and tolerance thresholds using measurement instruments.
- Design and Selection: Design measurement instruments or select them based on technical specifications.
- Proposing Solutions: Provide recommendations for instrumentation needs, working collaboratively with departments such as R&D or procurement.
- Technical Monitoring: Organize, monitor, and control the technical study documents for a project and their evolution.
- Testing and Validation: Test instruments and inform decision-makers on the relevance of specific tools.
Profile
You hold a degree from an engineering school or a Master’s degree (Bac +5) and have prior experience in a similar role, ideally in an agile environment. You demonstrate a strong interest in the technical aspects of this field.
Key Skills
- Proficiency in professional English
- Strong knowledge of measurement instruments and metrological standards
- Familiarity with Eurocodes and nuclear-specific regulations (ETC-C, RCC-G, RCC-CW)
- Understanding of the nuclear environment and best practices for safety-critical activities (installations, systems, equipment, operations, etc.)
