Commercial Manager for wholesale partnerships

Join us and become Commercial Manager in Customers & Markets with responsibilities for contracts and business development to energy retailers across Europe. You will manage our existing partnerships as well as drive initiatives to expand our partnership portfolio to small and mid-size energy retail companies.
Our objective is to build partnerships with energy retailers, existing and new partners in Europe, to establish a competitive foothold in energy supply to end user.
The department is part of Customers & Markets, which has more than 1600 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Customers & Markets handle the production from our wind farms and oil and gas fields to energy exchanges and customers in Northern Europe, and we distribute electricity and natural gas to businesses and private customers in Denmark.
Areas of responsibility
You will be part of a small commercial team that is part of our retail partnership organisation. The organisation consist of 25+ people with responsibility within commercial and operational tasks towards our partners. More specifically, you will as a Commercial Manager be managing existing contracts and drive commercial initiative to expand our partnership portfolio. In details this will include:
•Contract management of supply and funding contracts
•Ongoing commercial analysis and optimisation
•Project lead on new initiatives and implementation of new contracts
•Contract preparation and participation in negotiation with existing and new partners
•Assist in development of our partnership business model/concept (i.e. credit assessment model and energy supply models and partnership strategies)
Your profile
It is necessary that you have a strong profile that can engage in commercial analysis and negotiation with our partners and at the same time, handle complex data tasks that requires focus on details and industry understanding. You have a strong drive to achieve results. It is very important that you can translate energy retailer propositions into compelling energy supply solutions across the energy value chain.
You have strong collaboration skills and are highly motivated by creating results in close cooperation with partners. Your background would preferably entail:
•Experience from a European or International energy company, bank or energy consultancy
•Excellent analytical, project management and communication skills
•Educational background as economist, MBA or Engineering
•2-3+ years of relevant experience
•Fluent in English
