Young, modern, regional, fresh – that's our restaurant Deichkind at the StrandGut Resort. We go with the seasons and are primarily inspired by regional and seasonal products, and we value our collaboration with our regional producers. Together with our team, we set new trends on one of Germany's longest North Sea beaches here in beautiful St. Peter-Ording. By the way, things regularly get really spectacular here when we host unforgettable events or live concerts, which always bring glitz, glamour and lots of fun to the house!

Your responsibilities:

- As a breakfast chef, you will prepare the perfect breakfast for our guests in the morning and ensure that our legendary breakfast buffet is always perfectly presented.
- You will actively support our head chef Markus Friederici, who has been enriching Deichkind with his culinary skills, passionate attention to detail and extensive experience since 2015.
- The motto in the kitchen is: good, regional and seasonal products, simply prepared. Consciously bringing out the strengths of a product. Without a lot of fuss. Just honest cuisine. Incidentally, we are also locally sourced and have been committed to sustainability for many years.
- As a breakfast chef, we need your commitment for the morning shift from approximately 5 a.m. to 1 p.m.

- An enjoyment of high-quality, regional products and their preparation
- Quality awareness for the products
- Creativity and personal charm
- Successfully completed training as a chef with experience in the catering and/or hotel industry
- Enthusiasm and passion for honest, authentic cuisine
- Cosmopolitan and communicative manner, you feel comfortable in a team with different cultures
- Fluent German or English skills
