Shelly Tech d.o.o.

Shelly Tech d.o.o. was established as GOAP d.o.o. Nova Gorica which is a Slovenian high-tech company founded in 1990. After the successful development of a building management system and its installation in a large number of diverse facilities, and after successful cooperation in the automation of more than 50 passenger ships, in 2014 the company GOAP decided to develop its own products for smart homes under the Qubino brand.

At the beggining of this year GOAP was acquired by Shelly Group PLC and for this reason the company was renamed in Shelly Tech d.o.o. We are now developing products under the Shelly Qubino brand name.

Our company's products are global innovations. We develop and manufacture products that offer wireless solutions for smart homes and are based on one of the leading communication technologies Z-Wave.

Z-Wave smart home devices are the smallest in the world and the easiest to install.

Our solutions provide people with a comfortable and safer stay and enable them to save energy. Our mission is to bring comfort, safety and energy efficiency to every home and passenger cabin in the world, and our vision is to make it easier and more comfortable for people to live in homes around the world with our products.

Both in the research phase and in the development of new products, we cooperate with the Faculty of Electrical Engineering Maribor. We can boast that we are one of those companies that enthusiastically promotes cooperation between the economy and educational institutions in practice.

We have also arranged a "playroom" at the company, where we conduct workshops and educate children, teenagers and adults about modern technology for managing smart homes in a fun way. In this way, we want to share our knowledge with the environment, inspire the public about this technology and, as a result, increase children's interest in education in a technical profession.
