AIMA - Agency for Integration, Migration and Asylum

The Agency for Integration, Migration and Asylum is a public institute which represents a new State positioning regarding public migration policies and diversity management, both nationally and internationally, fully in line with the recognized complexity of migratory flows of our times. 

AIMA's first role is to document foreign citizens, the first step in the integration process towards a regular, safe and orderly migration. 

In addition, the Agency offers information and services related to living, studying, working and starting a business in Portugal. One of these services, crucial for a better integration of foreign citizens in Portugal, is the Portuguese language learning.
