Position duties and responsibilities:
- ensures that the restaurant is properly set up prior to and after the service period
- greets guests, takes care of their accommodation in the restaurant
- takes orders, serves food and drink to guests
- ensures that orders are checked for presentation and completeness and then delivered
- handles cash and credit transactions
- cleans tables after meal
- calculates daily consumption and delivers money to cash-desk
- resolves simple guest complaints
- demonstrates complete understanding of menu items and ingredients
- follows uniform and grooming specifications
- performs any other job related duties as assigned
Qualifications, skills:
- vocational or high school diploma
- minimum 6 months related experience
- ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language in order to communicate with guests other team members (level B2). Knowledge of Italian and/or German language is an advantage
- Good communication and selling skills, pleasing personality with good interpersonal skills
