Trainee/Experienced Mobile Locksmith/Door repair - Dublin

Key Guard Security are aiming to provide quality security services such as static patrols, mobile patrols, key holding, retail security, alarm response and locksmith services. We provide these services to a broad range of clients in multiple locations across Ireland.

Job description

• Installing, repairing, adjusting, and replacing locks and other door closures around various buildings and facilities.
• Repair/replace damaged components of entrance and exit doors
• Repair and replace damaged door and window locks, hinges, and electric locking release mechanisms
• Assist clients in unlocking doors when keys are lost or in changing lock combinations by inserting new pins into locksets
• Making duplicate keys when required.
• Maintain records and files of keying information and issued keys; maintains inventory of tools, locks, knobs, keys, and other related hardware
• Respond to requests for assistance to open locks which are stuck or for which user keys have been lost.
• Evaluate and recommend resolution of various security related should there be any issues.

Experience required but not essential :

• Maintenace and repairs experience is essential for this role if no locksmith experience
• Locksmith: 2 years (Preferred but no essential)
• Electronics Repair: 2 years (Preferred but not essential)
• Full European Drivers Licence is required.
• Mobile Patrol/Professional Driving experience (Preferred)

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of lock types such as abloy locks, key types, and key-cutting machines (Preferred)
• Maintenace/repairs experience (Essential)
