Technical Project Manager within IoT and SaaS

Join our exciting and fast-paced engineering organization where we challenge the status quo through innovation, customer engagement, and creative thinking. As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading an agile engineering team developing features, APIs, and integrations for strategic customer projects in close collaboration with our Consulting Team.

In this customer-facing role, you are comfortable engaging with both internal and external stakeholders and can present project charters, mockups, and architectural overviews clearly and effectively. You show ownership and accountability to external partners and customers while you track progress and handle roadblocks to ensure projects arrive on time. At Trackunit, we focus on continuous integration and deployment practices. You will deliver to multiple strategic customers, and always be on the lookout for new innovative ways to approach tasks using the latest tools and cutting-edge technologies.

With locations in the hearts of Copenhagen, Kolding, and Aalborg, we offer you a flexible setup with the possibility to work from one of our locations or remotely from anywhere in Denmark.

Every day is different, but you can expect to:

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with your team, customers, and Engagement Managers.
  • Lead development processes of features, APIs, and integrations on strategic customer projects.
  • Work collaboratively across teams on developing technologies to operationalize and develop the applications as well as communicate and resolve blockers to progress.
  • Develop collaborative relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Advocate a robust collaborative environment that focuses on, trust, experimentation, creativity, and innovation.
  • Support pre-sales activities, e.g., support scoping, estimation, planning, pricing, and contract/statement-of-work writing.
  • Mentor your team on performance and day-to-day tasks and foster cross-team coordination.
  • See the bigger picture and inspire, lead, and motivate team members to see their full potentials.
  • Improve and scale our platform and services through agile development processes as we continue to grow our business.

Who are you?

  • 5+ years from a similar position ideally in a SaaS company or at an early stage start-up, managing software engineering/development projects using agile methodologies.
  • Deep understanding of software architecture, analytics, and visualization.
  • Ability to effectively plan, allocate resources and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Track record of leading cross-functional teams and stakeholder management.
  • Experience with creating tools and automating processes.
  • Strong focus on action; ability to create a sense of urgency in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
