For our Hub Analysis Team within the R&D Department in Brande, Denmark we are looking for a Structural Design Engineer to strengthen our dedicated team. The Hub analysis team is responsible for verifying all the mechanical items in the Hub. As a Structural Design Engineer you will be part of a skilled team of colleagues taking care of all aspects Hub design including bearings and Hydraulics. You will be working closely with your colleges in R&D, as well as Supply Chain Management and Service to ensure the highest quality in solutions within the area. In the R&D Hub Analyzing Team we are mainly working on new products where you will be responsible for the verification of the design of the Hub through FEA or scaled testing. Consequently you will have a lot of interfaces across the organization, and you will see the result of your work immediately in the production or on sites.

What are my responsibilities?

· Verification of Hub design through FEA and or scaled testing · Root cause analysis and design solutions for warranty cases · Development and qualification of new and current suppliers together with procurement and quality department · Draw up of technical specifications · Review of design solutions within the technology area as well as other areas where your knowledge can be utilized

What do I need to qualify for this job?

· You have an education as a Mechanical Engineer (B.Sc. or M.Sc) preferably combined with some years of experience related to the mentioned areas · You are structured and innovative and your approach to task solving is both technically sound and commercially viable · You have the ability to interact at all levels in a dynamic and international environment · As a person you are outgoing and process-oriented, and you are capable of working independently as well as in a team · You have strong communication skills · You possess excellent English skills both orally and in writing Some travel activity can be expected In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
