Job Description
As an experienced Project Manager, you are responsible for setting up and managing large, high profile and complex (IC) development projects with strong customer commitment. From study / idea to completion (released for mass production). You manage multi disciplinary team of 20 – 50 FTE, consisting of (IC) design, package development, test & product engineering, product marketing, architects and application engineers. Managing and communicating with external partners (customers, design houses, project members from other departments) is part of the responsibility
You will report to the overall program manager have a a strong link with the automotive Business Unit and R&D managers.
Some of your tasks include:
- Hands on and daily management of the project.
- Setup the project structure and team for successful completion
- Sets the scope / boundaries of the project (write the charter)
- Accepts challenging goals, explores and find ways to achieve them
- Ensures that best practices and methods are applied
- Attention for needs from all stake holders in the projects
- Escalates in time to the (P)PRB or management team
- Makes sure that critical project monitoring and KPI’s are in place
- Responsible for the project budget
Job Requirements
We are looking for candidates will the following competencies:
- University education in business management or a technical discipline or has reached this level through another form of training and experience
- Minimum of ten years of relevant experience in multi-complex projects in product development.
- Key for this role is a PM with experience in AUTOMOTIVE and SEMICONDUCTOR.
- Experience with development of complex (mixed signal) semiconductor products
- Five or more years of work experience as a project manager in large (>20 FTE) project lifecycles from business development to final delivery.
- Lead cross-functional teams with multiple disciplines representation at different sites and/or regions.
- Experience in negotiations with third parties.
