If you have a couple of years’ work experience and you are ready to take your career to the next level, this job is tailored to you – that is, if you are fascinated by making multiple components come together into final products used by millions around the globe. At Milestone you will join the world’s leading provider of IP Video Management Systems. Coding, scripting, troubleshooting, process optimisations…

You will be part of our Build team. We are responsible for the company’s Build system and all related processes. The system supports our approx. 225 colleagues in R&D in order to making millions of lines of code come together into final high quality product deliverables. Your work will be centred on tools development, complex scripting and process improvements, and you can look forward to be working with multiple OS platforms and other technologies including Windows, Linux, Mac, iOS, Android and cloud. Your tasks will include:

• Managing the update and evolution of the build system – with your skilled team colleagues
• Development of tools including coding and scripting
• Analyses and troubleshooting
• Operations, configuration, maintenance and integration of R&D services (Azure DevOps, TeamCity, Artifactory)
• On-going focus on automation of processes

Solid skills in C# and scripting – and motivation for learning and development

We are looking for a profile with a holistic approach and a motivation for turning code into final solutions with maximum benefit for the users. As part of a small team with great responsibility you must like to work with many different tasks and show the same dedication and willingness to help your colleagues no matter the size or complexity of the task at hand. We can only succeed if we work as a team!

You must be able to analyse a problem and come up with possible solutions, often in close dialogue with your colleagues/customers in R&D. You must not be afraid to bring your ideas to the table – at Milestone it is not your title or experience that counts. Everyone counts and your contribution is always highly valued. Additionally, your CV comprises:

• A degree in computer science or similar, backed by a couple of years work experience
• C# development skills with good knowledge of .NET ecosystem
• Very good scripting skills in PowerShell
• Knowledge of TFVC and Git and motivation for developing your skills
• Experience in MSBuild is a big plus as is XCode, Gradle
• Good understanding of networking and infrastructure
• Understanding of CI/CD processes
• Experience across Windows, Linux, Mac, iOS or Android
• Good English skills, written and spoken

Your new team

You will join a small team of experienced and highly motivated colleagues. We are a Product Owner, 3 Software Engineers and our Department Manager at the Milestone HQ in Brøndby, Copenhagen where you will be working. Additionally, we have two Software Engineer colleagues at our development centre in Sofia. We think as a team and work as a team where knowledge sharing and helpfulness are cornerstones in our quest for developing new successes.
