As Service Technician Ground Support you utilise your technical skills and experience to repair and maintain ground support equipment, aircraft jacks and other airport related equipment in the airport of Schiphol. In your role safety within the company and also on the platform always comes first. The variety of equipment and the unique nature of aviation equipment means there is an opportunity to bring a wide collection of knowledge, skills and experience in the role. The workplace contains 5 units each responsible for a type of equipment and the main goal is to become an all round service technician who can independently fullfill the task giving to you and make it a team effort to maintain the service level agreements we have with our customers. Because Schiphol continues in a 24/7 schedule each day brings you new challenges. What we offer:  Monday to Friday role  Working hours between 06:30 hours & 16:00 hours  We offer 25 vacation days & 13 ADV days based on full time employment  Travel allowance for commuting to work  We are part of the employees collective, CAO Metaal & Techniek  Pension arrangements  A lot of options to further develop your skills with in -company and external training options  Weekly fresh fruit available  We offer a competitive salary Position Requirements:  Mechanical Trade Certificate in motor vehicle technology, commercial vehicle technology or agricultural mechanization technology  You must hold an current driver’s license  Experience in diesel engines and electrical fault finding preferred  Experience in Hydraulics would be an advantage  Experience in GSE would be an advantage  Good verbal skills in English when your Dutch is not that good  Willingness to undertake a background check with the Koninklijke Marachausse, VGB is mandatory in order to work at Schiphol Airport & TCR Netherlands.  Willingness to follow mandatory safety training for Schiphol Airport ground control  Willingness to take a driver’s exam for driving on the platform  Willingness to get your VCA certificate & forklift certificate Personal Attributes:  Professional can-do attitude  Ability to work independent and within the team  Motivated and pro-active  Strong work ethic with a history of reliability Compensation and Benefits:  Uniforms supplied and laundered  A personal tool box  Overtime penalties

Exigences professionnelles
