The organization
The Global IT team delivers core infrastructure, user workplaces, and business applications across all business units at William Demant. The team
The position is within the IT Operations team, which is part of IT Infrastructure & Operations. The IT Operations team consists of 10 team members in Denmark 15 in Poland as well, who are responsible for a stable and efficient IT operations across our global IT infrastructure landscape. The team is the frontline for the infrastructure department towards the business units, responsible for delivering the strategic initiatives related to the infrastructure and operations division.
Job Content
Contribute to stable and efficient IT infrastructure operations across our IT landscape, through handling releases, service requests and incidents in an effectively and timely manner
Continuously seek to optimize and improve daily IT operations, both technically and process-wise
Securing up to date documentation of the IT environment
Taking part in ensuring that our projects land securely and safely from implementation and is handed over to daily operations
Your profile
You have relevant experience in various technological areas of enterprise server operations and are familiar with Active Directory, Microsoft servers, automation, server deployment and have a flair for troubleshooting and delivering excellent services.
On the technological side, some of the following areas are something you are comfortable with and have +5 years of overall experience with – VMware, Hyper-V, MS Server 2012r2, PowerShell, server hardware and solving complex technical issues in larger environments involving DFS, SCOM, SCCM, cluster- and performances issues.
You are familiar with the challenges and priorities a centralized and global setup requires – and you are familiar with the processes that an Enterprise IT setup is equipped with and have an understanding and knowledge of the ITIL framework.
