In this role, you will lead a team of ambitious developers and guide them in their work and daily challenges. We are looking for an experienced software developer with 5+ years of working experience in software development. While the role will be managerial in nature, you will also be expected to code applications, create reports, and mentor junior developers. What you will do: - Lead a team of software developers and support and review their work. - Design, test and implement new and updated software programs. - Develop object-oriented solutions, improve existing software, and develop iteratively using a Git workflow in an Agile development process. - Document and review code to ensure that software quality standards are upheld. - Bring your experience and ideas into projects and suggest possible solutions from ideation to implementation and testing. - Quality assurance on work deliveries and implementations by the team
- Solid work experience as a software programmer. Proofs of projects and examples of tasks are nice to have.
- Proficient knowledge of programming languages such as Python, C/C++, and Rust and their hands-on implementation.
- Good knowledge of system frameworks like .NET, Git, AngularJS, and Github.
- Can work and lead other developers
- Have experience with planning tasks, deliveries and communicate them to stakeholders, project managers, and external customers
- Have managerial experience.
- Have a Master’s degree or PhD in computer science or similar.
