The Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) in Maersk Oil headquarters in Copenhagen is looking for a Senior Controlling Manager who can be a strong tie between the Information Solutions department and the Finance department.







We Offer

The Senior Controlling Manager will be leading the development of the financial processes and applying best practice for running Information Solutions from a financial perspective.



In this role you get to work as a specialist with lots of autonomy and flexibility in regards to improving and directing the financial processes.



The role has a broad focus on delivering high quality accounting, forecasting and controlling services for accounts and large projects.



One of the upcoming projects is to drive the standardization of the entire Maersk Oil Information Solutions estate in accordance with the new financial model and execute on the Information Solutions Finance roadmap.







Key Responsibilities

Some of the key responsibilities I the role are:

• Develop a solid approach to communicating the IS financial picture

• Directs offshored teams and activities

• Coordinates and consolidates the preparation of statutory accounts across business units

• Provides analytical support to the CIO and direct reports as well Finance leaders outside of the Information Solutions department

• Participates in audits





Who we are looking for

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Finance and at least 5 years of experience working with finance in the area of IT. The right candidate must have experience with IT budgets.



Strong planning, analytical and communication skills as well as the ability to present data in a meaningful and timely way to diverse audiences are key competencies for success in the role.



A candidate with process improvement skills and the ability to identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and productivity is preferred.
