Your position
In your onshore position as Senior Instrument Engineer in the Consulting Services team you will be a valuable member of a dedicated team whose mission is to support our clients to achieve success in their energy projects within energy infrastructure in oil & gas.
Your place of work will be either at our Global HQ located in Esbjerg or at one of our locations in Copenhagen, Poland or UK.
The position is full-time and 10 - 50 travel days per year offshore and onshore to clients should be expected.

The set-up
You will be hired as a Semco Maritime employee and work in a team dedicated to one of our national or international customers.
Your tasks & responsibilities
As a Senior Instrument Engineer your tasks and responsibilities will encompass, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for Instrument scope in Front End Studies.
- Ensure discipline deliverables to the right detail level for the study class, with feasible technical solutions in line with client and authority requirement.
- Cooperate with other disciplines, Client and vendors to ensure all aspects are covered.
- Prepare technical philosophy documents, sketches, drawings, indexes as required.
- Prepare Material list (MTO) with weight and cost input.
- Prepare input to Risk and opportunity register.
- Prepare Input to Main Equipment List (MEL) with dimensions, weight, cost.
- Prepare Input to Report - Good written English is mandatory.

Your profile & qualifications
We are looking for a profile with strong experience with front-end tasks and who is passionate about valves and wants to leave their personal mark on the tasks. You have a proactive and organised approach to your work and are eager to contribute to our clients and your team's success.
To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree as Instrument Engineer.
- Extensive knowledge and experience within the instrument discipline in general and valves in particular.
- Oil & gas experience will be preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of PSV's, actuated on/off valves (Inclusive ESD and PSD) and control valves.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills at a professional level.
- Knowledge of Norwegian language is highly preferred.
