PREVAS - Experienced hardware developer for our Life Science team

Would you like to develop hardware for medical devices together with other skilled developers with the same passion? Do you want to work in a consulting and development house, where your skills are used to learn new technologies and translate them into relevant requirements for the customers’ product while also adhering to the relevant regulatory requirements? If so, then the job as hardware developer in our Life Science team at Prevas A/S may be something for you.

For our department in Herlev we are looking for an experienced hardware developer who loves to work with hardware design within everything from sub-millimeter thin ultra-low-power designs to some of the world’s largest ultrasonic scanners. As a part of our Life Science team you participate in structured development because it aids development of safe products and you understand the need for documenting to enable authorities to review your design.

Together with the Life Science team you aim to advise customers within hardware development of medical devices. That is, advise customers about safety regulations and methods to comply to them in a hardware design. You will be familiarized with IEC 60601 and related standards. Preferably, you are able to act as architect on parts of systems.

As our new colleague, it is important that you:

• Have experience with embedded systems, HW solutions/architecture, hardware design
• Have knowledge of EMC design at board and system level
• Have experience with medical devices development
• Preferably knows the device safety standard and medical device risk analysis (IEC 60601, ISO 14971)
• Take responsibility for own tasks

We expect you to have a background as electronics engineer or equivalent academic level.
