Pediatric Occupational Therapist

Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Paediatric Occupational Therapist at Denzil Jacobs located in Tullamore. The role will involve tasks such as sensory integration, occupational therapy, working with children in paediatrics, and early intervention.
Conduct patient assessments and evaluations to determine their physical condition, limitations, medical histories and personal goals
Communicate with physicians and other health care providers to confirm plans of care
Advise family members and other supportive individuals about the level of care the patient needs
Provide occupational therapy guidance, support and education during patient sessions
Teach patients how to interact with adaptive technology
Show patients how to use assistive devices
Assist family members with purchasing products to help them achieve their goals
Guide patients through graded activities
Generate reports for patients and their physicians and families
Visit patients' homes to help install or use assistive devices.

Key Requirements:
A recognised validated University Degree or Diploma or an equivalent qualification in Occupational Therapy.
o CORU Registration.
o Sensory integration trained
o Comfortable liaising with multidisciplinary teams and professionals outside of this organisation 
o Comfortable working with neurological and Intellectual difficulties conditions.
o Bachelor of Occupational Therapy
o Public Liability Insurance
o Experience in a mental health environment advantageous
o Valid Driver’s License 
o Good report writing skills 
o Confident 
o Compassionate and caring demeanour

Essential:
•    Driving Licence : Full: ED
•    Minimum Experience Required (Years) : 5 Years of occupational therapist Experience
•    Minimum Qualification : Level 9 (incl Post Graduate & Diploma & Master Degree)
