Metabolism and Residues Scientist at Cheminova
Would you like to take part of achieving the ambitious goals Cheminova have set for achieving our new product registrations?
We are looking to recruit an experienced Metabolism and Residues Scientist to our Global Regulatory Science group. You would provide expert advice to support proprietary and generic plant protection products from a residues perspective through the regulatory process to successful registration.
The job will be varied and will require innovative thinking to:
- Evaluate and develop residue and metabolism data packages
- Prepare and defend submission dossiers
- Meeting with regulatory authorities
- Develop innovative and higher-tier solutions for risk assessment
- Follow emerging regulatory trends
The Global Regulatory Science group is located at both offices in Lemvig, Denmark and Harrogate, UK.
You will refer to the Head of the Global Science Group and must expect some travel, largely within Europe, but also worldwide.
Your qualifications
- Degree in chemistry or related life-science discipline
- Minimum 3 years experience in plant and animal metabolism studies across a range of chemical class compounds with a good working knowledge of scientific data requirements
- Familiarity with MRL submissions and, preferably, practical experience in the use of regulatory pesticide consumer models (e.g. EFSA PRIMO)
