LabWare LIMS Specialist, Corporate Products Quality Control (CPQC), LIMS team

Are you experienced in developing, testing, and implementing LabWare LIMS solutions for QC laboratories within a GMP regulated area?

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to use your innovative skills to develop LabWare LIMS solutions and do you thrive with generally promoting digitalization in other software areas as well?

Do you possess the skills of coordinating projects (cross-functional, internal), working closely with people of different backgrounds and cultures, mostly having non-IT backgrounds?

Then you might be the right one to join our Corporate Products Quality Control (CPQC) LIMS team at Lundbeck.

We are looking for a LIMS specialist able to work with both creation and test of static data as well as a LabWare LIMS at a higher technical level e.g., developing and implementing equipment interfaces, customizing LabWare LIMS functionalities if needed.

Currently our main Lundbeck customers are in Denmark, Italy, and France.

Your new role

Your primary tasks will be to:

  • Solve day-to-day user requests in close dialogue with our global customers

  • Support your colleagues in the LIMS team with delivering high level technical solutions using e.g., LIMS Basic, Crystal reports and SQL as tools

  • Document, test and/or validate LabWare LIMS solutions depending on complexity as per GMP

  • Be able to convey knowledge of LabWare LIMS functionalities to users with no or little IT background.

  • Participate and run projects involving LabWare LIMS solutions e.g., implementation of new modules, instrument interfaces and interfaces related external software such as SAP and PAS-X (MES).

  • Generally, participate in projects evolving the digitalization of the laboratory area

  • Be part of forming the strategy for the future LabWare LIMS system at Lundbeck in close corporation with the CPQC LIMS team and the CPQ management.

Your future team

The Labware LIMS organization at Lundbeck consists of local super users supported by the CPQC LIMS team of which you will be a part. The team is located in the Valby headquarters.

The main responsibility of the CPQC LIMS team is to maintain the LabWare LIMS system and provide support for LabWare LIMS implementation projects in the local QA/QC departments as well as support digitalization in other software areas as well.

This is done in close corporation with Corporate IT of Lundbeck as well as LabWare.

The team consists of 11 persons i.e., a manager, 2 specialists, 1 senior system responsible, 3 LIMS coordinators, 1 LIMS senior technician as well as 2 administrative employees and a student assistent. Most of the members have previously worked in the QC laboratory and with roles supporting the responsibility of performing quality control related to Lundbeck’s production. In this process we work closely with the production facilities in Valby and Lumsås in Denmark, as well as our sites in Italy and France. Our culture is characterized by high professionalism, direct dialog, humor, and helpfulness.  

QC Small Molecule is placed at our Headquarter in Valby, Copenhagen, and will be the primary workplace.

 

What you bring to the team

  • A scientific academic degree within chemistry, pharmacy, chemical engineering or similar

  • Experience with use of and coding in LabWare LIMS

  • Experience with project related work setting up user requirement specifications for e.g., LIMS interfaces

  • Masters oral and written Danish and English

  • Works independently and gets things done

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills

  • GMP experience

You have an innovative mindset, but at the same time takes actions and work towards goals when required. You enjoy solving problems and aim for continuous improvement. You are result oriented and enjoy working in a changing environment handling multiple tasks at the same time.
