Our client produces and distributes household items such as garbage bags and cling film for everyday use. The focus is on functionality, recycling, and sustainability.

The company operates in both retail and wholesale.

We are seeking a (Key) Account Manager (m/f/d) in the Mönchengladbach district for direct recruitment.

Your Responsibilities


You will manage (key) accounts in the DACH market. You will be responsible for all business activities with your customers, from accurate sales forecasting to the successful management of tenders.
You will create detailed customer plans. This includes category and market analyses, consumer intelligence, and the development of new products.
You will build a strong network. You will connect with all relevant internal and external stakeholders and production sites to successfully develop and launch products.
You will be the central contact for your customers. You will proactively cultivate relationships and ensure smooth communication.
You will be responsible for price negotiations: You will regularly participate in tenders and negotiate prices for the respective items and contracts. You will develop and maintain relevant customer pricing models to ensure that raw material and exchange rates are met.
You will work closely with the Commercial Director. Together, you will establish medium- and long-term agreements and conduct negotiations as needed.

Exigences professionnelles

Experience

  • Education or training: You have a university degree or commercial training.
  • Sales experience: You have extensive experience in a sales or commercial role.
  • Industry expertise: You have experience in the FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods) or private label sector. Ideally, you have experience in both.
  • Communication skills: You can communicate effectively with internal and external partners.
  • Supplier and market experience: You have proven experience working with local suppliers and markets.
