About the department

Quality Control Solutions is a part of Manufacturing IT in Corporate IT. In Quality Control Solutions you will be part of a highly engaged department responsible for managing IT systems for Product Supply, supporting systems which are core to the laboratory and production processes in Novo Nordisk. You will be participating in the operation, maintenance and development of several GxP critical IT systems, including system corrections and releases as well as the support process. You will be working with a team of colleagues both in DK and India, and you will have ample opportunity for professional sparring and best practice exchanges in your daily work. Furthermore, Quality Control Solutions is involved in projects with Product Supply, working closely together to ensure that business processes are adequately supported by IT systems.



The job

The job entails a broad range of system maintenance activities such as, but not limited to: responsibility for the delivery of world-class systems and services ensuring that they meet business requirements, responsibility for ensuring that the computer systems are in compliance with internal and external requirements, in close collaboration with the vendor our Indian support organization and IT quality assurance office. Drive and coordinate activities between Manufacturing IT in head quarter, Manufacturing IT in India and line of business. Participate in work related to system corrections and upgrades as validation responsible and release supporter, manage system development activities, evaluate and recommend on IT technical issues.



Qualifications

The ideal candidate holds a master degree and has a proven track record with 2-5 years of experience within operation and maintenance of IT systems in large organisations based on the ITIL framework and/or project management from the pharmaceutical (or other relevant) industry. You have solid experience with IT or IT project work covering specification, design, development or implementation of IT solutions. Preferably you have knowledge of laboratory and production processes. You are service-minded, your structured way of working and general overview enables you to handle several tasks at a time and still keep an ongoing focus on results. Being open minded and positive, you are a natural relation-builder to people across all organisational levels, geography and cultural differences. You have the ability and feel confident about collaborating and communicating with external parties, primarily with customers, vendors and consultants. You need to be fully proficient in English both written as spoken and a solid communicator with a strong personal dedication and ambition. You have professional and personal impact which is reflected in your desire to take initiative. In addition, you must have strong work ethic and willingness to take responsibility and drive success.
