HOST/HOSTESS
MedAsia Group is currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated host/hostess to join its fantastic team. As a Host or Hostess, you are the first point of contact for guests entering a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality establishment. Your primary responsibility is to greet guests, manage reservations, and seat them in a timely and efficient manner. You will also be responsible for maintaining the waitlist, managing the flow of guests, and ensuring a positive first impression for everyone who walks through the door. Additionally, you may assist with answering phones, taking reservations, and providing guests with information about the establishment's offerings. Your role is crucial in setting the tone for the guest experience and ensuring smooth operations in the front of house. Customer service skills: Friendly and welcoming demeanor when greeting and interacting with guests.
• Communication skills: Clear verbal communication to manage reservations, communicate wait times, and provide information to guests.
• Organization: Ability to manage a waitlist, prioritize seating, and maintain an organized front-of-house area.
• Multitasking abilities: Capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, such as greeting guests, answering phones, and managing reservations.
• Teamwork: Willingness to collaborate closely with servers, kitchen staff, and other restaurant personnel to ensure efficient operations.
• Previous experience: While not always required, previous experience in a similar role or in the hospitality industry may be beneficial.
