Job ID: 222666 Location: Vejle Organization: Siemens in Denmark – Siemens Wind Power – http://www.siemens.com/windpower Mode of employment: Full time We are looking for a new Head of Solution Marketing Team in Wind Power Offshore. Important task for the new head is to use his/her experienced visionary profile to continue building up the Sales strategic foundation underneath our Offshore Wind business. You will be based at our competence center in Vejle, Denmark, and from here you will also serve our Sales Offices in Hamburg, Frimley, Shanghai and Orlando What are my responsibilities? As the Head of Offshore Sales, Solution Marketing you will become a part of the Offshore Sales Management Team and will be involved in high level support to improve the performance of both our external and internal sales activities towards our customers, as well as high level management support activities. Further you will be responsible for securing that the Solution Marketing team is constantly oriented towards serving both external and internal sales in the best possible way. More specifically, your main responsibilities will cover: Scope and support all marketing efforts towards all links in the market decision chain Ensure updated value based selling concepts reflecting real time customer needs Support Customer Development Concepts Manage central initiatives towards increased customer satisfaction Define and manage portfolio of value adding concepts decreasing Cost of Energy Support the strategic planning for target sales projects, customers and markets Product Marketing Management Bid strategy support to sales colleagues Manage Sales training and competence development Ensure Siemens capabilities are converted into sellable solutions In this position you should expect approx. 20 - 30 days of travel per year. What do I need to qualify for this job? The ideal candidate has gained experience from selling and marketing bespoke complex solutions within a technical or financial field. The ideal candidate has more than 3 years of team leadership experience of highly skilled individualists with different responsibility areas and has demonstrated the capability to make them deliver as a team. It is vital that the new head can keep the big picture, and ensure that the team is constantly adding value to the sales process where needed. This requires a high degree of flexibility and courage to change scope if needed. The new Head is expected to hold a M.Sc. from either technical or financial education, MBA or similar. But most importantly understands both worlds, since Siemens Offshore Turbines are both considered as major investment goods as well as technical products, which makes the sales process quite complex.
