Hardware and Windows specialist

For an exciting and developing job in ECCO’s Global IT Department in our headquarters in Bredebro, Denmark, we are seeking motivated and ambitious IT employees who will help us continue the success of our department. We are looking for an independent and focused hardware and Windows specialist, who can be part of a team of 28 people engaged in the maintenance of our core infrastructure and applications. As a member of the Operations team, the whole world is your working place, and you will be working with a business that is constantly in development. The organisation is characterized by an informal tone where good initiatives and ideas are appreciated. Job Profile: Implementation, maintenance, management and support of ECCO’s Windows platform with: Primary focus on the server hardware and the Windows server OS Secondary focus on the client hardware and the Windows clients OS. 2. Level customer support and Incident handling Contact / coordinating with hardware and software vendors and suppliers. Global standard rollout - support the transition to a standardized server and client environment Responsible for ”technology tracking” of server and client hardware and Windows OS’s Establishing and maintaining operation handbooks and other documentation within the hardware and OS area Qualifications and Work Experience: In general, operational experience with server and client hardware and Windows operation system including Hyper-V is essential. Experience with the following is an advantage: PowerShell scripting Microsoft system center VMM Creation of SCCM installation packages Advanced Active directory management and Sites and services Microsoft Remote desktop solutions ITIL Person Profile: You are self-driven You are characterized by being very customer oriented You have a positive mind-set You thrive in a fast-paced environment with managing several on-going assignments/projects You have an analytical approach to tasks and focus on what is relevant to reach the goals set You are realistic and give constructive feedback. You are good at establishing contact and trust You understand and respect cultural differences. You have a relevant academic background and a deep insight in various IT solutions. Some travelling must be expected. Corporate language is English which you master in both writing and speech.
