Job Description

As a Concierge you will be responsible for responding to a wide variety of guest needs to ensure a smooth and pleasant experience for them. You will assist guests in a branded, friendly, proactive and efficient manner with appropriate follow-up as necessary.

What you’ll do

• Welcome guests to our hotel

• Answer the inquiries of guests on a timely basis

• Give the required information about different areas of our hotel to the guests

• Promote the services provided by our hotel

• Foresee the needs of guests and ensure guests are satisfied with our service while residing at our hotel

• Arranging tours and activities

• Help guests with various tasks like arranging transport, providing supplies, etc.

• Address grievances issues and inform Front Office Manager as and when required

• Complete and maintain any incident reports, daily activity reports or other reports requested by management

• Arranging special services

• Escort the guests to their rooms when needed

• Manage guest complaints

What we are looking for

• Previous work experience as a Guest Relations Agent, Concierge or similar role, ideally in a 5* hotel environment

• Excellent command of the English language

• Knowledge of any additional language will be considered as an asset

• Experience in Hotel Program (PMS) will be considered as an asset

• Computer literacy (Outlook, Excel, Word etc)

• Professional attitude and appearance

• Solid written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks

• Teamwork spirit and customer service attitude
