Engineering team, we are looking for a Foundation Manufacturing Specialist to take upon ownership of the entire foundation manufacturing process. With reference to the Foundation Package Manager you will be responsible for ensuring that the project’s manufacturing concepts are assessed in relation to technical feasibility, time schedule and budget. As a specialist with a proven track record within the wind industry, you will be part of a team of professional experts.

What are my responsibilities?

The Foundation Manufacturing Specialist will be responsible for ensuring a smooth manufacturing operation during the project process making sure that the concepts comply with the industry standards, local requirements and guidelines. Moreover, your responsibilities will include:

• Analyze and recommend the client’s tender and subcontractor’s manufacturing concepts

• Negotiate manufacturing scope of client’s contracts and Siemens sub-contractors contracts

• Optimise manufacturing procedures and concepts prior and during manufacturing

• Map contractual and technical design and manufacturing risks

• Provide in-depth knowledge of manufacturing methods to foundation structure design team for effective foundation manufacturing

• Ensure quick solution on major fabrication or communication problems

• Ensure optimized interfaces towards design and installation

• Setup and maintain documentation describing the foundation manufacturing process within Siemens’ Integrated Management System (IMS) Support and document knowledge built up within SWP

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• Minimum a BSc in Mechanical, Civil, Offshore or Material Engineering

• Five years of relevant experience

• Good English skills both orally and in writing In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
