Food and Beverage assistant required for very reputed restaurant in Co. Clare Ireland. Horly rate at €15 an hour based on 39 hours a week. Food and beverage (F&B) duties in a restaurant focus on delivering high-quality service, including greeting guests, taking accurate orders, serving food and beverages, and managing payments. Key responsibilities involve maintaining a clean, well-presented dining area, adhering to safety regulations, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Core F&B Service Duties
Customer Service: Greeting guests, seating them, and managing the dining experience to ensure satisfaction.
Order Taking & Serving: Accurately recording food and beverage orders, offering recommendations, and serving items promptly.
Menu Knowledge: Possessing detailed knowledge of food and beverage products to answer questions.
Table Maintenance: Setting up, clearing, and sanitizing tables between guests.
Payment Processing: Handling cash and card transactions efficiently.
Safety & Compliance: Practicing responsible alcohol service and adhering to health and safety regulations.
Operational & Staffing Duties
Opening/Closing: Performing daily duties such as cleaning, stocking, and preparing the dining area.
Supervisor Roles: Training staff, managing inventory, controlling costs, and ensuring high standards of service.
Coordination: Working with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food.
