Therefore, we are looking for a Flow Laboratory Engineer to join our Quality department.

With a direct reference to Head of Flow Laboratory, you will become part of the Flow Laboratory Team within Quality, which consist of five engineers and researchers, who are dedicated to ensuring the highest accuracy of our water, cooling and heat meters. The team manages, maintains and improves the test benches used to legally verify the meters, while conducting long term research on specific fluid dynamics phenomena and research methods.

A job with focus on quality assurance

In the newly establish position as Flow Laboratory Engineer your role will be to ensure the highest quality of flow-rate measurements through the characterization and continuous improvement of the flow benches. This includes several interconnected tasks, such as:

  • Establishing and maintaining the metrological functions and accreditation of the flow benches
  • Devising and performing test campaigns
  • Developing data analysis tools and models for the identification and prediction of failures
  • Proposing and implementing optimizations of the physical layout, control or operational procedures of the flow benches

Moreover, you will work in close collaboration with our production, product management and development teams on different topics related to flow, measurement, uncertainty quantification and legal metrology.

Personality matters

We are looking for a Flow Laboratory Engineer with a thorough knowledge within fluid dynamics. You hold a Master degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Aerospace Engineering or similar, and have relevant experience with the practical application of theoretical concepts of fluid mechanics from a previous job or a student project. But most importantly, you are eager to learn more about flow measurement.

Furthermore, it will be considered an advantage if you have experience in any of the following:

  • Signal processing, data analysis and statistics
  • CFD simulations
  • Measurements and associated uncertainties calculations
  • Handling calibrated equipment

As a person you are motivated by working interdisciplinary and by continuously learning and applying new knowledges, while maintaining focus on your objectives. You take responsibility for your tasks, where you always strive to find the optimal solutions. You grow with challenges and have great attention to details. In addition, you possess good interpersonal skills and are capable of communicating and cooperating with external partners and colleagues.

It is a requirement that you speak and write English fluently. Danish will be seen as an advantage.
