Join us as our next Project Manager at DONG Energy in the department Projects, where we are responsible for implementation of IT-based business projects from A to Z. Therefore we need you, to further strengthen our project management team. The Projects department is part of DONG Energy IT, which is responsible for creating and supporting IT solutions throughout the organisation, both in Denmark and the rest of Northern Europe. We focus our efforts on supporting the entire business and ensuring that the company works as professional, reliable and responsible company. You will be based either in our office in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area or in our office in Skærbæk near Fredericia depending on your profile. Areas of responsibility As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects in close co-operation with the business and the IT organisation. This implies efficient planning, stakeholder, risk and change management and completion of projects with focus on maximising value creation. Your performance, use of our project model and tools and stakeholder management must ensure streamlined projects and excellent results. Our projects are typically based on standard systems, including SAP and Endur, proprietary systems, eg .net or web-based solutions, and infrastructure. You will have the opportunity to use your competences within several areas, as we manage projects in all parts of DONG Energy - in Denmark and abroad. Your profile As a Project Manager, it is important that you: demonstrate a proven track record of successfully delivering multiple large-sized IT-based business projects have a good understanding of the energy sector through practical experience hold a degree such as Master of Economics, Bachelor of Commerce, MSc. (Business Administration and Computer Science), Computer Scientist, engineer or equivalent quickly acquaint yourself with business rationale and have a good understanding of business processes are good at building bridges between the business and IT are a strong communicator, capable of presenting and communicating difficult messages in a distinct and clear way have international experience and are used to communicating and working in English are visible, responsive and good at working across business lines, cultures and borders are robust and gain trust and respect from your peers work in a structured way and have good analytical skills. At present, you probably work as a Project Manager at a consultancy company or large organisation, where IT is critical to the success of the business. Finally, experience with management of projects where offshore delivery teams are involved is an advantage.
