For our global Offshore EHS department, we are looking for an Environmental Manager to support and assist in all environmental management processes. This entails an operational approach to our global projects as well as development of policies and procedures in regard to chemical management etc. The Environmental Manager supports the Project Managers in ensuring that the overall environmental performances on the different projects are within the EHS goals and objectives as set out by the project and corporate EHS targets. This includes complex environmental incident investigation, preparing and driving environmental campaigns etc. What are my responsibilities? • Build and maintain a unified approach to environmental management within Offshore • Capture feedback from projects (lessons learned, best practice, new solutions etc.) • Monitoring and cross referencing trends and collect and analyze incident report data • Perform environmental compliance audits of projects and other departments • Drive continuous improvement in regard to CO2 footprint reduction and constant sustainability improvement on projects • Provide guidance on project emergency preparedness and contingency planning • Assist the projects in marine environment protection requirements and local pollution restrictions etc. • Drive the implementation of new environmental management procedures and enrolling of new systems and IT applications • Advise on any environmental aspects of our operation during the sales and tender phase The role has great focus on practical site support and assistance, which will require some travelling abroad for shorter periods of time. Furthermore, the scope includes routine tasks such as administrating the MSDS Online software used by SWP to manage the projects’ chemical portfolio. What do I need to qualify for this job? • You have experience with operational environmental management and knowledge of international environmental rules, regulations and industry standards • You have extremely good communication skills • You are capable of coordinating and mobilizing resources from across different parts of the organization and projects • You have auditor skills and experience (internal auditor level) • A sharp analytical sense combined with a practical approach to complex problems • You have a good multicultural understanding with the ability to drive demanding processes in an international environment In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
