Engineer in the Automotive Industry
What to expect:
-You are working on research and development projects in the automotive industry (interior/exterior development, engine/transmission development, electrics/electronics development, high voltage battery systems development, topics concerning the entire vehicle, commercial vehicles development or logistics and production planning);
-You are developing automotive systems together with the project team under consideration of time, budget and quality goals , taking responsibility for sub-projects, ensuring maturity development and presenting results to project leaders, customers and/or steering committees;
-You are liaising with internal partners, suppliers and/or customers, detailing requirement specifications and ensuring these are adhered to.
What you should bring along:
-You successfully completed a university degree in mechanical engineering, automotive (systems) engineering or industrial engineering or hold an equivalent qualification;
-You were able to gain first experience in the research and development of automotive industry OEMs or suppliers, ideally within a German group or for German customers;
-You are experienced in working in project teams;
-You are an experienced user of MS Office software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio and are proficient in the application of one or more of the following R&D specific technologies 8Catia, Doors, Matlab/Simulink, Bus systems, C and C++ programming)
-You are a proficient user of the English language (minimum C1 level) and at least an independent user of the German language (minimum B1).
