Join our Energy from Waste & Carbon Capture team

The Energy from Waste & Carbon Capture team represent a truly international and dynamic environment and undertake projects worldwide within energy from waste (combustion and other thermal treatment technologies), production of biogas, waste sorting and resource recovery, carbon capture etc. Our team is recognized as the leading international consultant in this field of business. We provide consulting services out of offices in Copenhagen, Harwell (UK), Zurich, Singapore and Australia, where both projects and competence teams connect our colleagues.

As our new electrical engineer, you will be part of our team in Copenhagen (Ørestad office) with more than 60 technical experts and project managers dedicated to energy from waste and carbon capture projects. You will be working on Danish as well as international projects and work closely together with the rest of our consultancy team. You will have a key role in our competence team for “Electrical and I&C Engineering”, which is a strong community for electrical and I&C engineers striving towards technical excellence within this area by sharing knowledge, collecting lessons learnt from projects and development og best practices and tools. 

Your key responsibilities and tasks include technical consultancy services, in close collaboration with colleagues and clients, e.g.:

• To prepare conceptual design, technical specifications for tender documents, evaluatie tenders as well as conduct design reviews and supervision during fabrication, erection and commissioning.
• On projects with several suppliers, to coordinate the electrical interfaces between the suppliers as well as with any existing electrical systems.
• To conduct condition assessment of existing electrical systems on energy plants and discuss optimization possibilities and lifetime extension.
• To assist clients as consultant with implementation of lifetime extension projects and upgrades with new equipment
• To solve challenging technical issues for clients.
• To proactively contribute to the work in our competence team for electrical engineering with knowledge sharing, collection of lessons learnt and development of best practices and tools.
• To do consultancy work on instrumentation and control - in case this also is part or your competence area.
