E2E RAN Planning & Optimization Engineer

As an E2E RAN Planning & Optimization consultant, your day-by-day goal will be to improve overall network performance to our customers.

Your role

• Planning and optimization E2E activities for all generation of mobile networks (2G up to 5G);
• Radio Network Planning (RNP) for the introduction of new sites/technologies/layers using the most widely used tools in the market;
• Drive Test Processing, Analysis & Report with the most widely used tools (ex: TEMS) .
• Radio and E2E logs analysis and optimization;
• Initial Tuning and Single Site optimization activities for all technologies;
• Cluster tuning and optimization to achieve the target KPI;
• KPI Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting;
• Network Performance Benchmark;
• KPI and Parameter mapping for multi-vendor projects;
• Parameter Design for each new feature introduction;
• Parameter inconsistency check and database correction;
• Processes automation and data manipulation using BI and Data Science knowledge;
• Day by day knowledge leverage within the team & technical workshop creation as part of our knowledge share best practices.

• Degree in Telecommunications Engineer or similar.
• Proven experience in 2G/3G/4G/5G technology and knowledge in the main features of each techs.
• Know-how in the Mobile Network lifecycle and processes (modernization, swap, roll-out, etc.)
• Multi-vendor knowledge is a plus. (Huawei, Ericson, Nokia);
• Experience in Planning & Optimization processes and tools:

-Initial Tuning, Single Site Validation, Drive test, Cluster Optimization, Radio Network Planning, Network Audit, KPI Monitoring

-ATOL, TEMS, Performance Manager, U2020, etc…

• 2 to 8 years of experience;

• Knowledge in French or Spanish;
• Knowledge in BI, Data Processing, SQL and Scripting (ex: python).

• As part of a service line who delivers mobile networks services to the main market players, you will have the opportunity to work in several national and international projects.
• Multi-vendor and multi-scope project; From massive national-wide rollouts to highly specialized feature introduction activities.
• Leadership and Team coordination skills development when responsible to lead a small team and work as customer POC for the day-by-day activities.
