Do you want to work as a cook in a Danish summer paradise????

 

Restaurant Fru Berg is a fish n’steak restaurant located on the harbor in a small Danish picturesque village by the sea called Marstal on a tiny island called Aeroe. Marstal harbor is the most popular destination for all kind of boats during summertime in Denmark. Last summer we had more than 22.000 boats visiting. An additional 400.000 tourists choose to spend their holiday or weekend on our beautiful island using one of the four ferries that connect us to the mainland. During the summer months we offer brunch, lunch, afternoon delights and dinner.

 

The cook we are looking for is passionate about creating á la carte culinary masterpieces every time. You respond directly to the owner of the restaurant, and you are responsible for the daily production before and during service. You are experienced with á la carte cooking and you have a vide knowledge when it comes to fish and steaks. We expect you to master a relatively small but delicious menu card. 

 

You have a positive mind, you like working under pressure in an international atmosphere with a relatively young crew, and your English verbal skills are excellent.

 

We offer:

  • Fulltime position
  • Fixed salary pr hour: DKK 180,- Danish tax rules and regulations apply, all extras included.
  • Lodging close to the restaurant: DKK 2.500,- pr month will be deducted from your pay.
  • Free meals during shifts
  • One day off pr week
  • Health insurance according to Danish law

 

Applicant must hold EU passport

 

Start date: 1st April until end September

 

Working hours: Approximately 160 hours pr month, with a higher concentration in July and August

Exigences professionnelles
  • The cook we are looking for is passionate about creating á la carte culinary masterpieces every time.
  • You are experienced with á la carte cooking and you have a vide knowledge when it comes to fish and steaks. We expect you to master a relatively small but delicious menu card. 
  • English verbal skills are excellent.
