Construction Manager in Antwerp, Belgium

For our construction department in Antwerpen we are currently looking for a
construction manager
who will have the following responsibilities:

Responsible for overall management and coordination of construction for the project to ensure productivity, maintain schedule and safety

Develop the CM proposal sections and prepare CM budgets

Organize constructability meetings

Organize interactive planning sessions
-
Assist in preparing & reviewing subcontracts

Interview construction (sub)contractors

Assure strong HSE culture on the job sites

Develop Construction Management Plans (Project Execution Plans)

Coach and influence our discipline engineers and designers about construction related issues

Support the development of contingency and recovery plans as required; provide continuous improvement input and strategy development.

Develop procedures as needed and functions as liaison between multiple project managers, construction and contractors.
Qualifications
-
10 years’ experience as a Construction Manager in an industrial organization is required

BS or MS degree is preferred
-
Excellent oral and written communication skills are required

Professional Engineering certification in related discipline is preferred

Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred
